The New York Jets have signed their 2020 fifth round draft pick, cornerback Bryce Hall out of Virginia. Hall, a 6’1”, 202 pound cornerback who likely fits best in a zone heavy scheme, was expected to go much higher in the 2020 NFL draft before he suffered a major lower leg injury during his final college season. If he is healthy this fall Hall may compete for a starting outside cornerback position with the team.
Bryce Hall becomes the first of the Jets’ nine selections in the 2020 NFL draft to sign with the team. The Jets are the last of the AFC East teams to sign a draft pick, as each of their divisional rivals have signed no less than six draft picks by now. Hall’s contract is for four years and $3.6 million, terms more or less dictated by the NFL collective bargaining agreement.
Welcome to the Jets Bryce Hall.
