The New York Jets have placed second year cornerback Kyron Brown and second year running back Jalin Moore on the physically unable to perform/ reserve list, ending their 2020 seasons.

Kyron Brown, a 6’ 1”, 195 pound undrafted cornerback out of Akron, played in three games for the Jets as a rookie last year, starting one. With a deeper group at the cornerback position this season, Brown projected to compete for a spot at the back end of the cornerback depth chart.

Jalin Moore, a 5’ 10”, 215 pound running back out of Appalachian State, will miss his second consecutive season due to injury. He did not project to make a crowded Jets backfield even if healthy. With two straight seasons lost to injury to start his NFL career, Moore may be running out of chances to make an NFL team.

In other roster moves, the Jets also waived edge defender Charles Tapper and wide receiver Keon Hatcher, moves that enabled the Jets to open up roster spots for their class of 2020 undrafted free agents.
