Veteran running back Frank Gore will be signing a one year contract with the Jets per Ian Rapoport.
The #Jets are signing potential future Hall of Fame RB Frank Gore to a 1-year deal, per @RosenhausSports.

Gore has put together a long and prolific career. There is already debate about whether he is going to make the Hall of Fame.
For these reasons this signing will probably get more attention than it really deserves. The Jets are pretty thin at the running back position. In an ideal world Gore will provide depth and be able to handle a few touches per game. In the worst case scenario, the 37 year old has nothing left in the tank and will either fail to make the team or get too big of a role based on reputation.
Gore played with the Dolphins under Adam Gase in 2018 and ran for 722 yards on 156 rushing attempts. Last year he played with Buffalo and ran for 599 yards on 166 rushing attempts.
