GGN Thread About Nothing #228:Jon Batiste

What a time we live in. An invisible biological threat to society that few of us could have predicted and another all too predictable threat. A legacy from our past that like a long unbroken chain, continues to weigh us down in the present. Stay safe. Stay human.

Now, the rules of the TAN.

1) No politics, no personal attacks, no excessive swearing, no porn, no graphic violence/ gore.

2) If I or any other moderators or editors ask you to drop something, just let it go. Please don't argue. It won't end well.

3) If there is a problem email and we'll try to work things out.

You might know Jon Batiste as the leader of The Late Show Band. He comes from a long line of New Orleans jazz musicians so you might say music is in his blood. I saw him give a lecture on jazz music with Wynton Marsalis and I was impressed by his skill on the piano, his deeply rooted love and knowledge of the music, and his warm and joyful personality. We could all use a bit of that right now, couldn't we?
