Potential Jamal Adams Trade Packages

Okay... I'm going to do it, this will annoy people that this even being written, but I thought it would be fun to at least explore what the Jets could get if they ship off the All-Pro safety this year. Now don't go me wrong, I love Jamal. He is a baller, but he quickly being a selfish player and a primadona that is pissing a lot of people off. A leader doesn't claim to be team first and then demands a new contract. A leader sits back and waits, ensures that everything he does is best for the team.

Now lets get into a few potential trade packages for Jamal:

1. Jamal Adams gets traded to the Cowboys for a 2021 1st round pick and WR Michael Gallup. Now the Cowboys have apparently said that Gallup isn't available via trade, but they won't have the cap space to pay him after they pay Adams and Prescott anyway. So I can easily see them flipping him to get the man to complete their defence.

2. Jamal Adams gets traded to the Ravens for a 2021 1st round pick and EDGE Matthew Judon. Judon is on the franchise tag and has been subject to tag and trade talks. Judon would compliment the Jets and give them the edge rusher they need. He already fits a 3-4 scheme so it would be a relatively seamless transition.

3. Jamal Adams gets traded to the LA Rams for a 2021 2nd round pick and OT Rob Havenstein. Currently the Rams have one of the most difficult cap situations to manage and clearing out a contract like Havenstein's would help them tremendously. Havenstein is due to make around $23million over the next 3 season and the Jets still have a need for a reliable RT. Havenstein would slide in perfectly to the right side of the line and means that Fant and Edoga would be solid backups.

4. Jamal Adams gets traded to the Jaguars for a 2021 3rd round pick and EDGE Yannick Ngakoue. Now Ngakoue is gone from Jacksonville, he will never put their jersey on again. The Jets need an edge rusher and while Ngakoue is a weird size, he is productive. While he may struggle to transition into Gregg Williams defensive scheme, I think he would be rather productive nonetheless. The Jaguars have a pressing need in the secondary so it would be a win-win for both teams in this scenario.
