New York Jets Flight Connections 4/9/20

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Former Titans’ and Jets’ RB Chris Johnson is drawing fire from Jets’ fans after he tweeted that joining the Jets instead of the Ravens in 2014 was the biggest mistake in his career. In hindsight, he’s right. In New York he was part of a ‘three headed monster’ in Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory while in Baltimore he would’ve had a chance to be the guy. It makes sense considering he had a solid first season when he joined the Cardinals afterwards eclipsing 800 yards. Johnson later followed up that tweet with an explanation stating that Powell and Ivory deserved to see more touches instead of being relegated to a committee, which I also agree with. Hopefully going forward the Jets have a staff that is able to make the right decisions to make sure roster spots aren’t wasted. We’ll see if Joe Douglas and Adam Gase are able to do that.
