Jets Podcast: Assessing Offensive Positional Needs

Frequently when discussing a team’s needs the focus is on whether a team is strong or weak at a given position. There are, however, numerous ways to look at a team’s needs. Even if a certain position isn’t necessarily a weakness there are likely areas where a position group is incomplete. These are needs within a position. On today’s podcast we will take a look at what the Jets need at each position on offense.

Compared with the defense, the Jets offense needs a lot of help. The defense was above average a year ago while the offense was ranked at the bottom of the league in many major categories. What specifically could complete offensive positions groups for the team? Some spots need tweaking while others need a major overhaul.
