The 2020 virtual draft is complete and the Jets are reloaded with the ‘Joe Douglas Super 10’. In JD’s first draft the Jets find a way to fill positions of need, add extra picks, increase draft capital and build on the team’s culture. Mekhi Becton and Denzel Mims highlight the class, but there were plenty of steals and developmental players to be extremely excited about. Bryce Hall could be a quick contributor, La’Mical Perine adds another weapon for the offense, and Braden Mann could be on his way to best punter in the NFL.
For the first time in years the draft wasn’t filled with head scratching moves and the team appeared in control of the draft board. This podcast recaps the draft day trades, selections, UDFAs and Joe Douglas’ strategy.
