Podcast: Jets Players Impacted by the Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is now complete, and the Jets have added nine new players (ten if you count a trade). The Draft was a big moment for these players. It was also significant to players already on the team. Depending on whom the Jets did or did not select, current members of the team might see increased or decreased playing time. There are also long-term implications for players.

That is the topic of today’s podcast. I offer some thoughts on which players were most positively and negatively impacted by the Jets’ approach. Some players will now have more of an opportunity to make an impact. Some will have less. Some might view the lack of a pick at their position as a vote of confidence for the future. Others might see their time with the Jets numbered. We discuss it all on today’s podcast.
