New York Jets Flight Connections 4/25/20

Good morning, Gang Green Nation!

The first three rounds of the 2020 NFL draft are in the books, and the New York Jets picked up two offensive players and two defensive players. A giant need at offensive tackle was addressed with a giant man, Mt. Mekhi. Other long time needs at edge rusher and wide receiver were addressed with Jabari Zuniga and Denzel Mims, respectively. Joe Douglas traded down twice, once with the rival Patriots, and added three extra draft picks, two in 2020 and one in 2021. All in all it was a hectic and exciting start to the official Joe Douglas draft coming out party.

The 2020 NFL draft continues with the final four rounds today, and the Jets come in hot, with three selections in ten slots from pick 120 through 129, and six selections overall, followed immediately by undrafted free agent signings. Let’s see what goodies Douglas can serve up for Jets fans today.
