New York Jets Flight Connections 4/24/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday was the 1st round of the NFL Draft, and though there wasn’t any major waves to start, there were some surprises. With none of the top WR’s taken off the board and only 2 of the top 4 OT’s, the Jets selected Mekhi Becton from Louisville with the 11th selection. Becton was flagged earlier for having a supplement that had traces of marijuana in it, though hopefully those concerns can be nipped in the bud now. Becton is an athlete OT who could have a chance to excel in Adam Gase’s system, but I personally would’ve liked to see the team take a WR at that spot. We won’t know how this will work out until a couple years from now, so let’s wait and see if Becton can develop into a stud O-lineman.
