2020 NFL Draft Jets First Round Draft Discussion

We have just about reached the long awaited opening of the 2020 NFL Draft. Tonight begins the first draft in the Joe Douglas Era (and twelfth in the Gang Green Nation Era). The Jets have a number of short-term and long-term needs all over the roster, but only one first round pick, unless they manage to acquire a second through a trade.

Will the Jets find an offensive tackle? A wide receiver? Will they surprise with a cornerback or an edge rusher? Will they honor tradition with a defensive tackle? Will they trade down? Will they miss their pick(s) entirely as they go out for ribs at an inopportune moment? Will the interwebs break and the whole draft go bonkers? We don’t know, and they may not know at the moment. A lot depends on what the teams in front of the Jets do, and what the teams behind them are willing to trade to move up.
