Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. There’s been increasing speculation that the Jets could in fact miss out on the top four OT prospects in this years draft. If that were to be the case, there’d be a good chance that the team could draft a WR in the first round for the first time since the team drafted Santana Moss in 2001. I’d hope that the Jets wouldn’t reach for the OT5 at 11, and if anything would rather the team trade back if that was the case. And still, even if the team decided to go WR in the 1st round it would still be nice to see them try and trade back if possible. The team is lacking talent in a plethora of areas so accumulating higher draft picks could at least point the team in the right direction — assuming Douglas doesn’t completely whiff in the draft. Hopefully under his leadership the Jets are able to contend again in the near future. There isn’t much, but here are your links to the team to start your day off.
