New York Jets Flight Connections 3/24/20

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The Jets announced yesterday that they will be re-signing LB’s James Burgess and Jordan Jenkins — both on short-term, team friendly deals. While Burgess is a decent enough depth piece, I’m happy that they were able to bring back Jenkins. From what’s been reported, Jenkins and the Jets weren’t close to an agreement at the start of Free Agency, but playing for Gregg Williams seemed to be the deciding factor for Jenkins to return to the Jets. Though he isn’t quite a ‘star’ by any means, I do think that his accomplishments have been underrated. I still think the Jets should continue to pursue Edge Rushers in FA and the draft, it’s at least solidified one side of the defense for now. Let’s see where the team decides to go from here. With that, here are your links to start off your morning.
