Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort as always over the weekend. The Jets made two moves in FA during the weekend signing former Colts DB Pierre Desir to a one year deal; as well as giving a three year deal to former Panthers G Greg Van Roten. While not exactly a group of stars, Joe Douglas continues to put together modest acquisitions as the Jets look toward being competitive in the AFC East after Tom Brady’s departure from the New England Patriots. We’ll find out if that ends up coming to fruition soon enough. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your weekday off right.
Ralph Vacchiano - Jets GM Joe Douglas still needs to fill these 5 holes on his 2020 roster
Scott Thompson - Jets add more secondary help in veteran CB Pierre Desir
Ryan Dunleavy - Jets signing Pierre Desir to fill cornerback void
Darryl Slater - NFL free agency: As Jets sign Pierre Desir, what does 2020 cornerback situation look like? Will it actually be any better?
Tyler Greenawalt - Jets still have lots of cornerback options left
Brendan Carpenter - Receivers could now be atop the New York Jets' draft board
Manish Mehta - Jets revamped o-line could still underperform
Here are your missed connections from yesterday.
Here’s the thread about nothing, make sure to check it out!
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful rest of the day!
Are you happy the Jets signed Pierre Dasir?
