Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Rumors are once again circling around the Jets’ interest in Jaguars’ disgruntled DE Yannick Ngakoue. Yannick was given the franchise tag by Jacksonville but it’s been clear that he has no intent of playing for them. The only question then becomes what the Jaguars think he’s worth, and what the Jets are willing to give. After trading away multiple quality players it’s evident the Jags are intending to rebuild the team. If Jacksonville is willing to accept a 2020 3rd rounder as the premium pick in a trade package, I think that Joe Douglas should jump on that deal. The Jets have been starved of a quality pass rusher for years, and locking one up in his prime would easily bolster the defense for the foreseeable future. I’ve been a fan of Yannick for a while, so personally I hope the Jets can make it happen at the right price. With that, here are your links to the team to start your day off.
