Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday was a somewhat quiet day once again for the Jets during the Free Agency period. They did, however, manage to re-sign CB Brian Poole on what I believe to be a bargain deal for 1 year at $5 million. While it’s another 1 year contract, Poole has played well and at that price even if he plays poorly there isn’t much investment there — which seems to be the theme so far in Joe Douglas’ first off-season as General Manager. The Jets also decided to let DB Arthur Maulet and LB James Burgess test Free Agency, an indication that they are likely to be on another team next year. The team still has major gaps at CB, WR, and Edge, so it’ll be interesting to see what direction Douglas decides to take the team in going forward. GGN will have a live updates thread for you throughout the day. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your day.
