Good morning, Gang Green Nation! Things are moving fast. The NFLPA announced yesterday that they had approved a new 11 year collective bargaining agreement, to go into effect Wednesday at the start of the new NFL year. Shortly thereafter the NFL and the NFLPA met and discussed pushing back free agency, before ultimately deciding to stick with the original schedule. That means the legal tampering period begins today at noon EDT, and free agent signings can become official with the start of the new league year on Wednesday at 4 pm EDT. Rumors are going to start to fly fast and furious today. It will be fascinating to observe Joe Douglas in action for the first time as a GM in this environment.
