Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. For the Jets, this off-season will have a lot of important dynamics that will influence the team for years to come. One of these is the decision as to what to do with All-Pro Safety Jamal Adams. Though he still has 2 years left on his rookie contract, Adams has specified that he would like an extension — while also becoming the highest paid Safety in the NFL. However, if I’m the Jets, I wouldn’t be so quick to make a decision on the DB. While Adams has been consistent throughout his career, I would look at offers on the table for him. Safety just isn’t a position worth eating a big chunk of cap space for, and it’s not as if the team’s defense struggled mightily when he missed time this year. With rumors that the Jets have already looked at offers for Jamal this past season, I wouldn’t be shocked if they do the same again this off-season and into the regular season. I suppose we’ll find out what’s up Joe Douglas’ sleeve soon enough. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start off your weekend.
