Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. This is the time of year where you’ll see lists of all sorts. From mock drafts, to big boards, and cut lists. The latter of which you’ll see plenty of regarding the Jets, mostly due to how bad the team performed last season and the bloated contracts given in previous years under Mike Maccagnan. And though I’d like to get rid of nearly everyone who’s been replacement level at best on the team, the harsh reality is that a decent portion of these guys will be back in Green and White. Despite the cap space the team will have this year, the Jets have a large amount of impending free agents. Without a large amount of draft picks, the team will once again have to piece itself together in free agency, but expect a fairly decent amount of their own guys to get re-signed again. Though players like Trumaine Johnson are definitely going to be cut, guys like Jordan Jenkins and Robby Anderson may be brought back at an increased rate despite being fairly average. It’s a conundrum the team will face, but one they’ve put on themselves due to recent ineptitude. Maybe that changes with Joe Douglas, but time will tell. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning off right.
