Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday the Jets HC Adam Gase and GM Joe Douglas held a press conference at the NFL Combine. While most of the time the answers given are actually ‘non answers’, Joe Douglas did give a little insight as to his future plans. One of them being dispelling the rumors of a Le’Veon Bell trade, as Douglas stated he wouldn’t be trading the star RB. Another was the confirmation that Douglas and SS Jamal Adams’ agent are in talks for a contract extension. Adams has been an elite player, so it’s nice to see the team try to lock him up long term. The last was somewhat surprising, (though reading through tea cards in a way) when describing Robby Anderson. He did not discuss the future of Anderson on the team, and stated that he’s a player a lot of teams would like to have. Not much of a ringing endorsement to see him on the team, but surprises do happen.
