Yesterday on our show we placed Jets offensive players under contract into one of four tiers. The top tier is for elite talent. The second tier is for above average players or young players with the potential to get there one day. The third tier is for functional players or young players with the potential to get there. The fourth tier is for players who are lucky to have a spot on an NFL roster.
Today we turn our attention to the defensive side of the ball. Things were not pretty on offense. There aren’t many building blocks under contract for the Jets. The view is brighter on the defensive side of the ball. The defense was the stronger of the two units for the Jets in 2019. While weaknesses exist at some of the key spots, there is at least a base of talent to work with.
Thanks for listening.
