Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells as usual for holding down the fort over the weekend. With Sam Darnold going into his 3rd season as the Jets’ Quarterback, expectations will be high regardless of the final look of the team after the draft. Whether or not this is fair varies by person, but if Darnold wants to solidify himself as the elite prospect he was expected to be then he has to have a dominant 2020-21 season. Since Joe Douglas wasn’t the one who drafted Sam, he really has no obligation to stay tied to him if he deems the progression too slow for his liking. And with the lack of success of the franchise, this year could be the make or break season between Darnold and the Jets. Christopher Johnson has tempered expectations of the team going into this season as well, but that could just be a segue into quite possibly another rebuild. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start out your day.
