Jets rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims has temporarily left the team to deal with a personal issue. His status for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks is unclear.

We wish Denzel well.
Here are some of the injury updates from Wednesday’s practice.
Limited in today's practice:— Ethan Greenberg (@EGreenbergJets) December 9, 2020
-OL Pat Elflein (shoulder/ankle)
-T George Fant (knee)
-RB Frank Gore (concussion)
-S Marcus Maye (rib)
-C Connor McGovern (back/hamstring)
-WR Breshad Perriman (shoulder)
None of this matters all that much since the Jets have little at stake aside from Draft position over the final four weeks. It is worth noting that most of these players appeared on the injury report early last week and play in Sunday’s loss to the Raiders. We will watch their trajectory through the week as we get closer to the Seattle game.
The Jets also might be getting some players back soon.
I’m not sure how much Wesco will help things, but Austin would be a boost to the secondary. Most of the focus on rookie Lamar Jackson was about the game-winning touchdown by Henry Ruggs, but he is really struggling out there otherwise. Austin’s return will make things a bit more stable at corner even if it still isn’t stellar.
