Week 13 of the 2020 NFL season continues with four late afternoon games.
In perhaps the best of the late games, the 6-5 Arizona Cardinals host the 7-4 Los Angeles Rams in a NFC West showdown. The Cardinals and the Rams trail the division leading Seattle Seahawks by two and one games, respectively. A loss by the Cardinals would all but end any hopes for a division crown and put their playoff hopes in jeopardy. The Rams have a little more room for error, but they have another game against the Cardinals to end the season, and losses in both games would be damaging. They’d prefer to deliver a knockout blow to the Cardinals this afternoon.
Elsewhere in the late afternoon games, the 5-6 New England Patriots try to keep their faint playoff hopes alive against the 3-8 Los Angeles Chargers; the 8-3 Green Bay Packers try to keep their hopes of a #1 seed in the NFC alive against the hapless 3-7-1 Philadelphia Eagles; and the 8-3 Seattle Seahawks try to keep their own #1 seed hopes alive against the surging 4-7 New York Giants, who have won three straight and are trying to secure a division crown in the NFC East.
Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whichever late afternoon games catch your fancy.
