The 2020 Jets are five losses away from infamy. If they cannot get a win over those five games they will go down as the third team in NFL history to finish a season with an 0-16 record.
This weekend their opponent is the Las Vegas Raiders. Last year the Raiders visited MetLife Stadium in a late season game, and the Jets won in a blowout. There might be some hope from this standpoint. Of course the memory of that game makes it less likely the Raiders would look past the Jets and approach this game with the complacency that could fuel an upset. Las Vegas is also coming off a blowout loss to the Falcons so we can presume they will be plenty motivated to put forth a good effort this week.
On today’s podcast I preview this Week 13 game looking at some of the keys to watch both for the Raiders matchup and the longer term. Listen below.
