Week 16 Late Games Open Thread

Week 16 of the 2020 NFL season continues with four late afternoon games.

In the headliner, the 10-4 Seattle Seahawks host the 9-5 Los Angeles Rams in what is close to being the NFC West championship game. A Seahawks win clinches the NFC West crown for Seattle, while a Rams win puts them in the driver’s seat, needing just a win over the Arizona Cardinals in week 17 to take the NFC West crown.

Elsewhere in the late afternoon games, the 6-8 Washington Football Team takes on the 4-10 Carolina Panthers in a game the Football Team needs to stay alone atop the NFC East standings; the 4-9-1 Philadelphia Eagles play the 5-9 Dallas Cowboys in a game both teams need to cling to their slim playoff hopes; and the 5-9 Los Angeles Chargers square off against the 5-9 Denver Broncos in the Battle for the Basement in the AFC West.
