In the final game of today’s NFL tripleheader, the Miami Dolphins visit the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 9-5 Miami Dolphins are on the cusp of securing an AFC playoff berth. The Dolphins have won eight of their last 10 games, including last week’s victory over the New England Patriots which knocked the Patriots out of the playoffs for the first time in forever. The Dolphins feature an outstanding defense which should give the Raiders all kinds of trouble tonight.

The 7-7 Las Vegas Raiders come into tonight’s game reeling, losers of four of their last five contests. The Raiders’ only victory in the last five weeks was the infamous game against the New York Jets, when a ludicrous last second defensive call by former Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams snatched defeat from the jaws of a Jets victory. A little more than a month ago it looked like Jon Gruden and gang would be returning to the post-season. The late season swoon has destroyed that dream.

It’s the Dolphins and the Raiders in the Saturday night finale. Enjoy the game everybody.
