In the second game of today’s NFL tripleheader, the San Francisco 49ers visit the Arizona Cardinals.

The 5-9 San Francisco 49ers come into this game having lost six of their last seven games. A season which began with playoff aspirations has been devastated by injuries. With quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo sidelined most of the year and many other key 49ers joining him there, the 49ers haven’t had a fair shot this year. They will however, get one key piece back today. All Pro tight end George Kittle returns to action after a stint on the injured reserve list. We’ll see if he can spark a 49ers upset.

The 8-6 Arizona Cardinals come into this game winners of two straight after dropping four of their prior five. That mid-season swoon almost cost the Cardinals a shot at the playoffs, but they appear to have turned things around just in time. The Cardinals need a win today to stay in the forefront in the race for the final NFC wild card berth.

It’s the 49ers and the Cardinals in a NFC West showdown. Enjoy the game everybody.
