The Jets have activated nose tackle Foley Fatukasi off the reserve/COVID-19 list. To make a spot on the roster linebacker Harvey Langi has been placed on injured reserve.
We've activated DL Foloruso Fatukasi from Reserve/COVID and placed LB Harvey Langi on IR.

Fatukasi was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list last week after a contact tested positive for the coronavirus. He missed the game against the Rams. Although the Jets won the game, Fatukasi’s presence on the interior of the defensive line was missed especially in the second half. The Rams started winning in the trenches without Fatukasi and Quinnen Williams as the game progressed.
Langi moved into the starting lineup due to injuries, opt outs, and trades at the linebacker position. Prior to 2020 he had primarily been a special teamer during his Jets career. There were games where he was frequently seen flying to the football and impressing against the run. He also had some struggles in pass defense. Since players must remain on IR for at least three weeks, his 2020 season is now over.
