The Pro Bowl rosters have been announced. The Jets were one of six teams in the league to have no players earn a spot.

Rookie tackle Mekhi Becton missed the cut even though he led the fan voting at his position.
Mekhi Becton won the fan voting, but the three AFC tackles are Laremy Tunsil, Eric Fisher and Orlando Brown. https://t.co/um2n3m4tjk— Rich Cimini (@RichCimini) December 22, 2020
It is very difficult for me to get upset about Pro Bowl selections. The first reason is the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. The selections have ceased to have any meaning. They are based on name recognition more than performance.
Even if this wasn’t true, it would be difficult to argue with Jets missing the cut. Sure a handful of players have had productive seasons. A few players might have had a case, but this is one of the worst teams in NFL history even with yesterday’s win over the Rams. If ever a team deserved to not have a player selected to the Pro Bowl, this is it.
