Jets vs Rams Second Half Thread

NFL: New York Jets at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The first half of the New York Jets game against the Los Angeles Rams is in the books, and the Jets lead the Rams, 13 - 3.

The Jets dominated the early action. After forcing a quick Rams three and out on defense, the Jets offense went on a long touchdown drive. It was the eighth straight game the Jets scored on their opening drive. The Jets defense dominated the Rams offense the rest of the first quarter and the Jets went into the second quarter leading 7 - 0.

The Jets opened the second quarter by blocking a Rams punt. The immortal Braxton Berrios dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone. The Jets had to settle for a field goal for a 10 - 0 Jets lead.

On the next Rams drive Bryce Hall made a great play for an interception and the Jets had the ball deep in Rams territory. After moving inside the 5 yard line the Jets had to settle for a short field goal and a 13 - 0 lead over the Rams.

From there the Jets defense continued to dominate the Rams offense, until a last minute Rams drive resulted in a 45 yard field goal and prevented the Jets from shutting out the Rams in the first half.

We head into the second half with the Jets leading the Rams by 10 points in a game that feels like the Jets should have a bigger lead.

Enjoy the second half everyone.
