Fatukasi is a close contact of someone who tested positive for coronavirus. #Jets
The Jets had a difficult task traveling across the county for a second straight week to face a quality Rams team. It will now become more difficult. Of course the Jets are out of the Playoff race and probably couldn’t beat the Rams anyway, but missing Fatukasi will make that less likely.
Fatukasi has developed into a very solid player on the interior of the Jets defense line. He is the rare Mike Maccagnan Draft success story. While his role doesn’t lend itself to major statistical output, Fatukasi’s ability to win his assignments consistently have helped the Jets put a respectable run defense on the field.
Fatukasi was a sixth round pick by the Jets in 2018 after playing his college ball at UConn.
