It’s week 14 of the 2020 NFL season and the New York Jets are visiting the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, Washington.
The Jets come into this game off a 12th straight loss to start the season against the Oakland Raiders. This was a crushing defeat, as the Jets had the game all but won before succumbing to a last second bomb on the worst defensive call of the century. The Jets will be missing rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims, rookie safety Ashtyn Davis, starting outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins, and starting guard Greg Van Roten, among others, today. With such a banged up roster lining up against a likely playoff team in the Seattle Seahawks, on the road, the chances of a Jets victory don’t look promising.
The Seahawks come into this game fresh off an embarrassing loss to the New York Giants last week. The Seahawks have lost thee of their last five games as Russell Wilson has uncharacteristically struggled with turnovers recently. A matchup against the Jets’ putrid secondary should be just what the doctor ordered today for Russell Wilson, D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and company.
It’s the New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks in a game with playoff implications for the Seahawks and draft pick implications for the Jets. Please leave your comments in the section cleverly marked “comments” below. Enjoy the game everybody.
