We all wish Mims and his family the best.
The Jets have other wide receivers whose status for Sunday’s game is also unclear.
#Jets WR Jamison Crowder is a new addition to the injury report with a calf issue that limited him at practice today.

Not good, considering NY will be without Denzel Mims at Seattle.
#Jets Thurs. Injury Report:

DNP: ADavis, BJackson, Jenkins, Mims, Van Roten, Gore
LP: Crowder, Elflein, Perriman
FP: Adams, Fant, Mann, Maye, McGovern https://t.co/dyv0Uq4eiA
In addition to Crowder, Breshad Perriman was limited for the second straight day. Consistent injuries at wide receiver has been one of the biggest themes of the season for the Jets. It began in training camp and has continued. In the last few weeks the team has gotten healthier at the position. The offense has at least shown some ability to make plays as a result.
At this point I am not sure how realistic the Jets’ chances are even with Crowder and Perriman on the field, but clearly losing either of those two would hurt the offense.
The final injury report of the week will be posted by the team tomorrow.
