Tomorrow’s game between the Ravens and the Steelers aside, we are through Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season. The race for the top overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft now appears to be between two teams, the Jets and the Jaguars. The Jets currently have no wins while Jacksonville has a single victory.

Here is the current order courtesy of Tankathon.

  1. Jets 0-11
  2. Jacksonville 1-10
  3. Cincinnati 2-8-1
  4. Dallas 3-8
  5. LA Chargers 3-8
  6. Philadelphia 3-7-1
  7. Carolina 4-8
  8. Washington 4-7
  9. Detroit 4-7
  10. Atlanta 4-7

A tie technically counts as half a win and half a loss so with a pair of wins and a tie Bengals are 2.5 games behind the Jets for the top pick and 1.5 games behind Jacksonville for the second pick.

At the very least it certainly looks like the Jets will be picking in the top two.

We have five games until we figure out whether that pick will be first or second.
