This is not a pleasant time for the New York Jets. The team is 0-11, five losses away from being the third team in the history of the NFL to go 0-16 in a full season. This will be the tenth straight year the Jets will miss the Playoffs.
There are numerous short term and long term issues to be resolved with this franchise. On today’s podcast I talk about my views on some of them.
Some Jets fans are rooting for wins right now. Others are rooting for losses. I have come to the conclusion that losing is probably more beneficial for the franchise than winning at this point. This is a different view that I have had in years past. It’s only partially due to getting better Draft position. I’ll explain.
I also talk about the need to find a stronger head coach-general manager partnership on personnel and why the future could be brighter for the team going forward.
Thanks for listening.
