Podcast: Jets fall to 0-11 in loss to Dolphins

NFL: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

The Dolphins completed the season sweep of the Jets yesterday at MetLife Stadium. Miami defeated New York 20-3. The loss dropped the Jets to 0-11 in the 2020 season. On today’s podcast I offer some of my thoughts about the loss.

In some ways I’m not sure the score accurately reflected the Jets’ level of play. There were many individual efforts that were good enough for the Jets to win the game. Unfortunately the underperformances came from key people, most notably the quarterback and the head coach. These are the two most important people on an NFL team. When they don’t deliver, the team has a tough time finding success. While there were some promising games from young players who could have a future with the team, we saw further confirmation that the team will soon be going in a different direction at quarterback and head coach.

Thanks for listening to the show.
