New York Jets Flight Connections 11/30/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. The Jets lost once again, what a shocker! It included a plethora of Frank Gore runs on 2nd and long, and some horrendous Quarterback play once again. Saying that Sam isn’t the answer is beating a dead horse for me at this point, and I think fans need to understand that when coaches sing praises of their opponent’s QB, it’s literally the same as going through the motions at the NFL level. For example, opposing coaches were still paying respect to Dan Orlovsky during the Lions 0-16 run despite everyone knowing how bad of a player he was. Fans have a problem holding out hope on players longer than the team should; as we see every year when a ‘Pre-Season favorite’ pops up who inevitably doesn’t make the team or is a non-factor. Liking a player is fine, and everyone has a player they like who stinks. But let’s not get so caught up that we continue to go through the same motions this franchise has done countless times before.
