Jets fan confidence falls to 13% after loss to the Chargers

Over the last few weeks we have seen an unexpected increase in confidence among Jets fans. The rating reached 21% after the bye week. Was it fans feeling good after a competitive loss to New England before the bye. Was it fans excited about potentially getting Trevor Lawrence? Was it statistical noise?

The third explanation might be the answer. After the loss to the Chargers fan confidence fell to 13% in our survey. The loss was competitive and moved the team closer to Lawrence.

People say Jets fans aren’t an optimistic bunch, but more than one out of ten we poll remains confident about one of the worst teams in NFL history.
