Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season continues with the early afternoon games. There aren’t a whole lot of great games here.
Perhaps the best of the early games features the 6-3 Tennessee Titans taking on the 6-3 Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of last year’s Divisional Round Titans’ upset over the Ravens. Both teams have stumbled recently after getting off to fast starts on the year. The Titans have lost three out of four after starting the season with five straight wins. The Titans are tied for first with the Colts in the AFC South and they need this game for their divisional crown hopes. The Ravens have lost two out of three after starting the season with five wins in their first six games. The Ravens’ divisional crown hopes are all but lost as they are three games behind the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens need this game to keep pace in the wild card race. With both teams needing a win badly, this should be a great game.
Elsewhere around the league in the early games, the 3-5-1 Philadelphia Eagles play the 6-3 Cleveland Browns in another game crucial to both teams’ playoff hopes; the 4-5 Detroit Lions take on the 3-7 Carolina Panthers; the 2-6-1 Cincinnati Bengals clash with the 2-7 Washington Football Team in the battle of the two win teams; the 7-2 New Orleans Saints face off against the 3-6 Atlanta Falcons in what could be a surprisingly competitive game as Drew Brees is out injured for the Saints; the 9-0 Pittsburgh Steelers try to keep their perfect record intact against the sad sack 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars; and the 4-5 New England Patriots try to keep their faint playoff hopes alive against the woeful 2-7 Houston Texans.
Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whichever early afternoon games catch your fancy.
