The Jets return from their bye this weekend as they travel to LA for a game against the Chargers.
In theory the bye came at a good time for the Jets. It prevented them from playing on a short week after a Monday night game, and it gave them extra time to prepare for a cross country trip. In practice the team’s struggles have been so profound that one wonders how much it will really matter.
The Chargers are a struggling football team, but their season has not been as bad as the Jets’ 2020. They also have a young quarterback in Justin Herbert who has looked promising to this point.
On today’s podcast I give my Jets-Chargers preview. Beyond this specific game, I am now also looking at some longer term issues for the Jets. I will be focused on the score of this game but also the progress of some key players.
