New York Jets Flight Connections 11/18/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday the Jets waived CB Pierre Desir and he will be available for other teams to claim. It comes of little surprise that this happened considering the type of season Desir has had. What was the final straw however was probably a play against New England, in which Desir showed next to no effort trying to tackle his assignment. This ended in a Patriots TD and it was highlighted on various NFL analytic accounts the following day. Joe Douglas definitely doesn’t like bad press, and with the Jets already being the laughingstock of the league the amount of leeway given will be next to none. CB Brian Poole was also placed on IR, which means there’s a very real chance the Jets’ secondary gets torched for what seems like the hundredth time this season.
