New York Jets Flight Connections 11/17/20

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday it was announced that Jets’ QB Sam Darnold would not be able to play Sunday against the Chargers, leaving the starting duties in the hands of Joe Flacco for the second consecutive week. Darnold being ruled out on Monday after a bye doesn’t bode well for his return anytime soon. In fact, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him miss at least one or two more weeks. To be frank, I deem it a little irresponsible for Douglas to not just place Darnold on IR and elevate the QB that he drafted in the 4th round considering how this season has gone. Not allowing Darnold to have a complete rehab isn’t doing him any sort of justice, and considering his chances of being the starter next year are slim it just seems like they’re risking his future career at the same time.
