Jets Podcast: Midseason Awards

NFL: New York Jets at Miami Dolphins Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

On today’s podcast I hand out my midseason awards for the Jets in 2020.

Technically we are past the midway point of the season. The Jets have completed nine of their sixteen games, but this seems like a good point for midseason awards with the team at its bye week.

The awards I hand out are a bit different. There hasn’t been a lot of good for the Jets this year, which means some positive award categories simply have no candidates. I do my best to celebrate what has gone right, but a lot of the awards are focused on the things that haven’t gone well. This won’t be a season remembered for success. The best case scenario is the losing this year helps pave the way for a brighter future for the Jets.
