New York Jets Flight Connections 11/12/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. There’s no question the Jets have been bad, but nothing jumps out at how bad they’ve been when you realize that six out of nine weeks have involved an opposing player winning a ‘Player of the Week’ award against them. It isn’t just one side of the ball who’s besting the team either. There’s been two ST, offense, and defensive players who have each received this award after playing against the Jets. When you think about it, it’s actually amazing. The team is so bad that it allows other players to out-produce their normal standards and bring themselves into excellence. If this isn’t an indictment on the coaching staff in all three phases of the game, I’m not sure what is. Boyer, Williams, and Gase should all be canned at the end of the year since it’s become more apparent that the Johnson brothers won’t do it mid-season, despite reports from Rich Cimini that an 0-9 start would lead to changes.
