Jets vs Chiefs Second Half Thread

NFL: New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

The first half of the Jets game against the Kansas City Chiefs is in the books, and predictably, the Jets trail the Chiefs, 21 - 9.

The Jets have played about as well as they are capable and they still trail by double digits. The Jets and the Chiefs have the same number of scoring drives. The difference in this game thus far has been the Chiefs score touchdowns and the Jets score field goals. You can’t let scoring chances keep on ending in field goals against an offense as explosive as the Chiefs.

We head into the second half with the Jets trailing by 12 points to the Chiefs at halftime. In theory a 12 point deficit should not be insurmountable. In practice, this Jets team is exceedingly unlikely to overcome a double digit halftime deficit.

Enjoy the second half everyone.
