As we continue to wait to hear more about the presumptive positive test one Jets player had for COVID-19, the team released its final injury report ahead the game currently scheduled for Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Presumably the Friday statuses are estimations of each player’s status had the team been able to practice.

As you can see, left tackle Mekhi Becton and wide receiver Breshad Perriman are both listed as doubtful.
Perriman has been out since the Week 2 loss to the 49ers and practiced on neither Wednesday nor Thursday. It would be a surprise to see him play. The Jets have been playing shorthanded at wide receiver all year, and that trend will likely continue.
Becton’s experience in last week’s loss to the Broncos makes me want the Jets to hold him out of this game. Becton clearly was not healthy enough to take the field, but the Jets put him into the game briefly.
