New York Jets Flight Connection 10/8/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. It turns out that AC join sprain has affected Sam Darnold more than what was let on, as Joe Flacco will get the start for the Jets against the Cardinals on Sunday. If Flacco ends up playing well on Sunday, it won’t bode well for Darnold’s future at all as a Jet, considering that they both would be playing with the same supporting cast. If the Jets end up winning and Flacco ends up playing well it also remains to be seen if they stick with him going forward. A QB playing well may dampen the team’s chances of landing the #1 pick, and presumably landing Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence. Flacco hasn’t played well in over 2 years, so if he comes in as the Jets starter and plays exceptionally it might blow my mind as to what’s going on in the Jets organization.
