Things are currently bleak. The Jets are 0-4. They lost to a previously winless Denver team playing its number three quarterback on Thursday night.
I thought I might feel better after a weekend to process things, but I don’t. Adam Gase remains the head coach, and one of the reasons is reportedly the team fears firing him will negatively impact Sam Darnold’s development. The team also put Darnold and Mekhi Becton on the field Thursday even though they weren’t healthy for reasons that still have yet to be explained.
On today’s podcast I share my frustrations about the state of the franchise. It doesn’t seem like there’s any leadership to be found. Inexplicable things keep happening. Nobody seems to have any answers. I just don’t get it.
